Setting Up Instagram Graph

Instagram Graph is the latest from Facebook in interfacing with Instagram. What makes this different from the previous Instagram integration is that we can scrape comments beyond 1 week and up to 30 days and it allows us to scrape comments more efficiently!

To get you started you need to switch an Instagram Business Profile. Let's get started! If you already have the Instagram app you can skip to step 3. 

 

Step 1: Download and launch the Instagram app

Download the Instagram app for iOS from the App Store, Android from Google Play store or Windows Phone from the Windows Phone Store. Once the app is installed on your mobile phone, tap to open it.

Step 2: Let us know who you are

Tap Sign Up, then enter your email address and tap Next, or tap Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.

Step 3: Set up a free business profile

Within the Instagram app, find Settings > Account, then scroll down to Switch to Business Account. Once you have a business account, you can add in pertinent business information like store hours, business address or a phone number. Create a Business Profile

Step 4: Connect your Instagram Page to Facebook Page

Instagram Business Users must connect their account to a Facebook Page before Soldsie can access their data. Facebook Pages can be connected to an Instagram Business User through the Page's Settings > Instagram tab.

Step 5: Activate Instagram Graph on Soldsie

Go to your Soldsie Account and go to Settings > Social and from here you can activate your Instagram Graph Integration by clicking the "Connect to Instagram Graph button"

Step 6: Select the Facebook Page associated with your Instagram Page

You can now select the Facebook Page associated with your Instagram Page from the earlier steps.

Step 7: Link your products with Instagram

If everything goes through you are done! You can now link your products to your Instagram posts like you normally do.
